Those of you who came to the previous People's Republic of Southwark events may have taken part in my people mapping project. In 2009, the project will expand to include your active contributions.
The questionnaire which some of you may have seen is a part of the project archive. The other part of the archive will include actual objects. If you'd like to help, come along to the event and bring something which means 'home' to you. This could be absolutely anything, - from a photograph of yourself/your friends/family, your home, or somewhere where you'd like your home to be; - a note/poem/story/journal entry; - a drawing; - a video or sound recording; - a souvenir or a memento; - a soft toy you've had since you were a child; - a lock of your baby hair etc. All of the objects will be exhibited at the monthly events, so, if possible, bring something you are happy to part with or at least lend us it. No data will be lost, we promise! |
